Notice of Marriage Chester-le-Street

A Notice of Marriage or Notice of Civil Partnership is a legal document showing:

  • the two people getting married or registering a civil partnership
  • the venue where the ceremony will take place


If you live in Chester-le-Street you must book an appointment to give notice at Chester-le-Street Registry Office. If you don’t live in Chester-le-Street, but wish to get married or register a civil partnership in Chester-le-Street, you must give notice to the local authority for the area you live in instead.
